As one of the six founding faculties of the University of Tehran, since 1942, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and Natural Sciences have been taught at the College of Science. At present, it consists of five schools of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geology and the department of Biotechnology.
